Eight Seasons

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

General information: The Rödingträsk Fishery Conservation Area is situated about 40 kilometres SE of Lycksele. Follow Rd 353 past Knaften, go on another 6 kilometres and turn right towards Hornmyr, go on about 3 kilometres and then turn right towards Rödingträsk (about 5 kilometres) (The map of the Rödingträsk Fishery Conservation Area can be seen on the map of the Knaften Fishery Conservation Area).
