Eight Seasons

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

General information: The Vormträsk Fishery Conservation Area is situated along Rd 365 about 50 kilometres north of Lycksele. Lake Vormträsket is the main fishing water. There are also some other lakes and meres. 

Fishing:
In Lake Vormträsket there is big perch and pike. In Mere Norra Svarttjärn there is also good perch and pike fishing. In Mere Brännkläpptjärn rainbow trout is put out, so a special fishing permit is required there.

Fishing rules:
Angling with hand tackle. For Mere Brännkläpptjärn a special fishing permit is required with a maximum of 3 fish per permit.
