Eight Seasons

Nyheter >> Senaste nytt

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

Fishery conservation::
The Övre Vargån Fishery Conservation Area is dependent on your help in order to be able to offer good fishing also in the future. Our sensitive natural stocks of grayling and trout can easily be ruined, if you do not stick to our rules. Remember that our small brooks are often spawning and growth habitats for trout before they move into the main waters. Leave them alone, and we will get better fishing and bigger fish in, for instance, Stream Vargån.
