This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

0005_webb_350.jpgThe Motor Week in Lycksele has become a giant success with thousands of visitors in the course of one week. This arrangement is steadily growing, and the events succeed each other during the week. Initiators and organizers are the Pharaohs Automobile Club in Lycksele, LMK the Lycksele Motor Club, LMU Lycksele Motor Youths, the Motor Historians of northern Sweden and the "Last Burst" Lycksele Motorcycle Club. The Municipality of Lycksele has also contributed as well as a number of volunteer workers. In 2010 the event will take place from July 24 to 31.
