Eight Seasons

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

The Lycksele Sami heritage is on display at the Sami residence. Here you will find cots, sheds and an old Sami girls' school. We welcome anyone with an interest in the culture of the Nordic indigenous people. The Sámi Association

This year's success will be recurring next summer: Diggiloo will come to Lycksele again on July 14, 2010!

Diggiloo is the biggest family show in Sweden, delivering the best of humour, rock'n'roll, hits and pop music.

The summer of 2009 was a fantastic success Diggiloo attracted audiences of a total of 122.600 persons in Sweden.

Krall Entertainment is behind Diggiloo with the team: Lasse Holm and Torgny Söderberg,

Patrik Krall and Anders "Butta" Börjesson as director.

 - According to a lot of people the summer of 2009 was the best one since the start.

- That will be a challenge to take up, since our aim is to make the next show even better, says Lasse Holm.

Next season's performers are an impressive team as usual, a combination of new and old friends!

Under the management of Maestro Lasse Holm we will meet in the summer of 2010:

- Alcazar, Jessica Andersson, Gunhild Carling, Mojje, Erik Linder,

Thomas Petersson, Markoolio and Magnus Johansson.

 

In the area which will open at least 90 minutes before the beginning of the show there will be restaurants,

Salvequick's Children's Land and a recurrent favourite from this year - Mojje's Family Show.

 

Tickets will be released as early as November 25, due to requests from the guests!
