Eight Seasons

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

Welcome to visit the Christmas Zoo, clad in snow and pouring with light from the crowns of the trees and from torches. Here you can take a walk and have a look at our animals in their beautiful winter coats, hand in your wishing list to Santa Claus in his cottage or have a cuppa on the hill.

There are also opportunities to have a look at the feeding of our predators and seals.

Predator feeding takes place at kl. 14.00

Seal feeding takes place at kl. 12.15 and 15.00

Welcome into the warm cottage on Bear Hill for a cup of mulled wine or a coffee with snacks.
