Eight Seasons

Nyheter >> Senaste nytt

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

This summer it is time again for the great festival of the year in Lycksele, the Motor Week!

The Motor Week is an event that is steadily growing. Last year the Motor Week attracted more than 30 000 visitors.

This year the festival will start on July 24 and go on for eight days, filled with activities, up to July 31.

During the week there will be activities for the whole family, young as well as old. A few examples are: Moped Race, the Children's Motor Day, Burnout, Car & Audio Show, enduro, drifting, snowmobile riding on the river and lots of more. You will find the full programme on the Motor Week home page.

The week will, as usual, finish with a large car exhibition, Yankee Cars & Classics, which for the third year running will be held at the Old Site instead of the Zoo, its earlier venue. There you can grab the opportunity to enjoy shining cars and motorcycles and at the same time experience the scenery at the Old Site.

Don't miss the greatest festival of the year in Lycksele!
