Eight Seasons

This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

General information: The Husbondliden Joint Ownership Association fishing waters are situated about 20 kilometres north of Lycksele along Road 365. There is a number of lakes with large pike and perch and lavaret. In Lake Abborrträsket there is also a small stock of grayling.

Fishing rules:
Angling with hand tackle. Boat fishing allowed. (private boat required!)

Service for anglers:
Windbreak at Abborrträsket, where launching of boats is easy. There are also windbreaks at Brook Kvarnbäcken between Lake Husbondträsket and Lake Abborrträsket.

Fish species within the area:
Perch, pike, lavaret, grayling and burbot.
