General information:
The Pausele - Bäcknäs Fishery Conservation Area is situated about 45 kilometres north of Lycksele along E 12. It includes parts of Brook Paubäcken, a few lakes and meres and a part of the Ume River.

Fishing:
In the current sections of Brook Paubäcken there is grayling and trout. In the Ume River there is also grayling and trout, but mainly perch and pike. In Lake Hundsjön there is also lavaret, apart from perch and pike. Other waters offer perch and pike. 

Fishing rules:
Angling with hand tackle. The upper border in the Ume River is the municipal border to Storuman. Thanks to cooperation with other fishery conservation areas you can fish in the Ume River down to the Rusfors power station!
