A cookie is a small text file that the website you are visiting saves in your computer. The next time you visit the same website it will know that you have been there before. There are two types of cookies - permanent and temporary ones. On our website we use almost solely temporary cookies, so-called session cookies, which will disappear after the termination of your visit. The Municipality of Lycksele website uses cookies for technical reasons in order to produce statistics, aimed at improving the website. We do not save any personal information via cookies, and no information on the visitor can be traced. According to the new legislation regarding electronic information, which came into force on July 25, 2003, the visitor of a website must be informed that the website uses cookies. The user must also be given an opportunity to avoid cookies. If you do not accept the use of cookies, you may change the settings of your web browser (for example Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) so that it will not allow cookies.
