On August 15, 2011, the daily train services between Umeå and Lycksele started again. Now it will be possible to commute to and from work or school. There will be 3 double trips per day, and the timetable will be adapted to a commuter's requirements, i.e. a focus on departures/arrivals in the morning and evening.

As from December 12 there will be yet another double trip on the Lycksele-Vännäs route. This trip will be adapted to the Vännäs shuttle, which will enable you to travel all the way Lycksele-Umeå.
