This year the Eight Seasons exhibition will be on display at the Forestry Museum in Lycksele - an object and picture narrative on the life and history of the Sami people.

The name of the exhibition refers to the Sami traditionally having divided the year into eight seasons in order to describe the seasonal changes.

Lycksele SK and Lycksele bid you welcome to Lycksele Market, October 1-3, 2010 Trade in Lycksele has a long history. As early as in the 17th century the first markets, where the Sami and tradesmen from the coast did their business, were arranged. Ever since then this market tradition has ben kept alive. Still there are two annual markets, the spring/winter market and the autumn market.
